ALICE CHAN
Alice has been representing the local and international business community for over 20 years. She has defended Fortune 500 and other companies, including domestic and international air carriers, restaurants, bars, parts manufacturers, maintenance providers, and transportation terminal operators in mass tort litigation, complex commercial actions, premises liability, insurance, motor vehicle, wrongful death, personal injury, property damage and contract actions throughout the United States and internationally.
Her wide range of experience includes handling aircraft accidents resulting in significant loss of life, serious personal injuries and substantial property damage and business loss in complex litigation. These cases are handled alongside more standard cases that may involve premises personal injury and property loss claims. Alice's depth of litigation experience has enabled her to develop versatility to properly and appropriately address the required defense necessary for each case according to specific facts, legal issues and nature of the claim.
Alice has vast experience with issues relating to electronic discovery and has managed electronic discovery in complex and standard cases for multinational conglomerates and local businesses. She has assisted clients in establishing corporate preservation, retention and production policies and advised clients with respect to privacy issues arising in cross-border document production.
She has mediated and arbitrated numerous cases, both complex and non-complex in jurisdictions in New York, New Jersey and throughout the country. With preparedness, persuasiveness and skilled negotiating techniques, she has successfully effected settlement on cases mediated and arbitrated.
She is the founder and President of the New York Chapter of Women in Aviation, International dedicated to providing education, mentoring, networking and scholarship opportunities for men and women in the aviation and aerospace communities. She is an Adjunct Professor of Aviation Law at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology and a member of its Advisory Council.
ANDREA GRANT
Andrea litigates cases before the State and Federal courts of New York in personal injury, property loss and damage, fraud, commercial, construction, breach of contract and real property actions representing corporations and individuals. She has tried cases in the Supreme Court of the State of New York in Bronx and Westchester County, and has
defended commercial entities in complex actions involving breach of contract issues through pretrial and appeal.
Andrea advises commercial clients regarding regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies, contract drafting and negotiation, and has represented and advised clients in actions involving ERISA laws and employee violations of collective bargaining agreements.
Andrea has represented commercial entities and individuals in various forms of Alternate Dispute Resolution including arbitration and mediation of commercial loss and breach of contract claims.
She is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, the Bronx Bar Association and teaches ethics courses at a college in New Rochelle.

JOHN NWAGHANATA
John is an Associate of the firm, representing commercial airlines, airport terminal airport operators, and governmental entities in tort and personal injury claims, contract, insurance and commercial litigation. He has also represented corporations and businesses in lawsuits involving labor law issues, including wage and hour and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
John is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law, and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award from the Fordham Law School Federal Tax Clinic, for his work as an intern providing legal services to underrepresented individuals and small businesses. John is admitted in New York and is a member of the New York City Bar Association.
